CTO VShojo was co-funded by CEO Justin, a member of the Twitch development team, and Phillip, a YouTube content producer. It debuted on November 24, 2020, as one of the first VTuber businesses to be formed in the West and the US. They established VShojo in order to help and support English-speaking VTubers.
For the first time in October 2021, Ironmouse and Veibae were among the top 10 female streamers on Twitch based on hours watched.
VShojo received $11 million in fundraising in March 2022 from a round of investors led by Anthos Capital.
