A representative for Suffolk County Lee Zeldin was raised in New York and completed his high school education at William Floyd High School in Mastic Beach.

At the age of 23, Congressman Zeldin graduated from Albany Law School and the State University of New York at Albany (SUNY), making him the state’s youngest lawyer at the time.

Congressman Zeldin was chosen to represent New York’s First Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2014 after serving for four years in the State Senate.

In the House of Representatives, Congressman Zeldin is a member of the Financial Services and the Foreign Affairs Committees, where he also holds the position of Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.

Congressman Zeldin, his wife Diana, and their twin daughters Mikayla and Arianna live in Shirley, which is where he was born.
