Lori was employed by a psychological well-being center in Auburn, where she resided, at the time of Lori’s abduction. When Lori missed two consecutive days of work in June 2006, her coworkers became concerned. So around 10 AM on June 13, two of her colleagues went to see how she was doing. Although there was no evidence of Lori or her car, her pet was still there. When the coworkers discovered numerous missing items from the house, they promptly notified the police. Authorities have not yet located Lori or her body.
