Aprilla is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer which was founded immediately after the World War II in Noale in Italy. It was founded in 1945 and at the moment the company is 77 years old.

The Aprilla Company began as a producer of bicycles and later moved on to scooters and small capacity motorcycles. In the last few years, the Italian based motorcycle company has manufactured a large sport bike which is used in motor racing.

These motorcycles include the 1000 cc V-twin RSV Mille and the V4 RSV4. Aprilia is served worldwide according to the company’s website and Rocco Sabelli is the chief executive officer of the company currently.

Aprilia has its motorcycles being used in the MotoGp championship and it is based in Scorze in Italy. Their current riders are Maverick Vinales, Aleix Espargaro and Lorenzo Savadori.
Since late 2004, Aprilia has been part of the Piaggio Group, headed by chairman and managing director Roberto Colaninno.
