The company quickly began to focus on video game sales for the then-dominant Atari 2600.

Ryan Cohen’s Gamestop shares are currently valued at $191.12M. Ryan Cohen is a Canadian entrepreneur and activist investor. He founded the e-commerce company Chewy in 2011 and was the company’s CEO until 2018. Cohen is currently the chairman of GameStop.
