Beginning as the first private jet charter and management company, NetJets has led the industry for nearly 60 years. It was founded as Executive Jet Airways in 1964 and was later renamed Executive Jet Aviation. NetJets became the world’s first private business jet charter and aircraft management company. It launched its fractional ownership business in 1986 and became a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway in 1998.
