The Palazzo is a luxury hotel and casino resort located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, which was opened in 2007. The Palazzo is the largest hotel in Las Vegas and the second-largest hotel in the world, with over 7,000 rooms and suites.
It features a casino, several restaurants and bars, a shopping mall, a theatre, and a number of luxury amenities, including a spa and a fitness centre. The Palazzo is known for its luxury and high-end amenities and is a popular destination for both tourists and business travellers.
The $1.6 billion Palazzo foundation work started in September 2004, without a groundbreaking ceremony. The project had been in the works for nearly a year as of February 27, 2006. For the majority of that time, a 4-story-deep pit had to be dug in order to install an underground parking structure.
Schuff Steel Company provided the steel for fabrication and erection. The hotel tower’s 35th story was attained in November 2006. However the parking garage and shopping complex were both under construction on the ground floors.
