With more than 180 locations throughout Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, WellNow Urgent Care is one of the nation’s fastest-growing providers of urgent medical care, telehealth, and occupational medicine services. Dr. John Radford founded WellNow in 2012 as Five Star Urgent Care in an effort to give communities the kind of high-quality walk-in care he noticed was lacking while working as an ER physician. Patients welcomed this new addition to their healthcare options right away, and the business grew over the following few years.

In order to more accurately reflect its mission of providing quick, convenient, and high-quality care for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, Five Star Urgent Care changed its name to WellNow Urgent Care in 2018. In addition to expanding through the strategic acquisitions of MASH Urgent Care in 2018, Hometown Urgent Care & Occupational Health in 2020, and Physicians Immediate Care in 2022, Wellnow Urgent Care has also continued to open new locations.
