Christian Stuart McKay, an English actor who was born on December 30, 1973, works in both theater and film. Probably what makes him most well-known is his portrayal of Orson Welles in the 2008 movie Me and Orson Welles, for which he was nominated for more than two dozen awards, including the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Rosebud: The Lives of Orson Welles, a one-man play that has been shown at a variety of venues, including the Edinburgh Festival and King’s Head (London), featured Christian McKay as Orson Welles. In a subsequent occurrence, he reprised the role in the United States as part of the 2007 “Brits Off Broadway” festival.
