In the spring of 1993, low band, a trio band group was formed. Alan Sparhawk (guitar and vocals) and Mimi Parker founded the American indie rock group Low in Duluth, Minnesota, in 1993. (drums and vocals). From 1993 until 2020, the group consisted of a trio and had four different bassists over the course of its existence. From the time of the group’s founding until 2022, Mimi Parker was a member.

Mimi Parker received her ovarian cancer diagnosis in late 2020; she started treatment in 2021; and in January 2022, she made the news public in a podcast interview.

Who produced Low album?

Superstar producers were featured on all three of Low band’s full-length recordings on Kranky: Recording engineers Steve Albini and Tom Herbers collaborated on Secret Name and Things We Lost in the Fire, both of which successfully captured the band’s strengths. Tchad Blake mixed Trust at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, which was where Tom Herbers and Eric Swanson recorded Trust.
