In August 1991, Duffy’s reign as one of the most feared gangsters came to a halt when he picked a fight out with David Allison in Marton Road, Middlesbrough. The fight began after the two exchanged words at a blues party in the Afro-Caribbean Centre. As the fight broke, Davide Allison grabbed a knife and fatally stabbed Lee Duffy to death.
