Jackie Walorski (August 17, 1963 – August 3, 2022) was an American politician who represented Indiana’s 2nd congressional district in the United States from 2013 until her death in 2022. Jackie belonged to the Republican Party. From 2005 to 2010, Walorski represented Indiana’s 21st district in the House of Representatives. Jackie won the Republican primary in 2010 for Indiana’s 2nd congressional district, but Democratic incumbent Joe Donnelly narrowly defeated her in the general election. After Donnelly resigned to run for president in 2012, Walorski took over the seat. Senate, and was four times re-elected.

In 2004, after Richard W. Mangus, a Republican state representative, announced his retirement, Walorski ran for a seat in the Indiana House of Representatives. The suburban region between South Bend and Elkhart was included in Indiana’s 2nd District, where she ran for office. Walorski defeated Carl H. Kaser, a Democrat, 64% to 36%. With 53% of the vote in 2006, Jackie was elected for a second term. Jackie won a third term with no opposition in 2008.
