The band was managed by Brian Epstein who moulded them into a professional act, and producer George Martin guided and developed their recordings, greatly expanding their domestic success after signing to EMI Records and achieving their first hit, “Love Me Do”, in late 1962.

They enjoyed international recognition and a high level of commercial success as well as winning awards including Grammy Awards, Brit Awards, Ivor Novello Awards among others.

They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.

The Beatles break up has a lot of contributing factors such as financial disagreement, and creative differences.

It is also believed that Epstein’s role as band manager was never replaced after his death and ultimately the lack of strong managerial leadership contributed significantly to the break-up.
