It must be noted that TikTok has become one of the most followed online platforms ever since its service was hosted by in September 2016 by the Chinese company ByteDance as owners of the site.

Why did Texas ban TikTok?

Information reaching several media reports has confirmed the banned of TikTok on phones and computers in Texas by Gov. Greg Abbott. The federal government referred to the online platform’s activities as a cybersecurity risk and has cautioned the Chinese company ByteDance on its dangers for years. The government upon several deliberation and consultations have placed a ban on TikTok activities on phone and computers in Texas.
