Now 30, Spencer is an artist in Los Angeles. Previously, on the tenth, twenty-fifth, and twenty-fiftieth anniversaries of the record’s release, including the most recent one in 2016, Spencer reproduced the album cover as a teenager and as an adult. Each time, he wore swimming trunks.

Why did the Nevermind baby sue Nirvana?

The man who was a baby on the cover of Nirvana’s Nevermind album is suing the band and Kurt Cobain’s heirs for “sexual exploitation.”

In one of the most memorable album covers of all time, a baby can be seen swimming naked in a pool while chasing a dollar note on a hook.

However, the film’s actor has filed suit against 15 defendants, seeking $150,000 (£109,000) each, on the grounds that he was unable to provide his informed consent before his likeness was used in promotional materials for the film.
