Zion Clark is a renowned wrestler who holds the Guinness World Record for walking solely on his hands. He experienced personal struggles as a youth, while later finding renown in sports. Clark was raised in foster care despite not having legs from birth. In foster homes and schools, and he claimed to Insider, he experienced physical abuse, malnutrition, and bullying.
But when Clark was finally supported and loved when he was adopted by his mother at the age of 17, he began to change his life.
With a time of 4.78 seconds, Clark, author of the recently published book “Zion Unmatched,” set a world record for the fastest 20-meter hand-walking.
He discussed how he trained for a muscular and strong upper body and how he managed to remain optimistic in spite of his early childhood in an interview with Insider.
Why does Zion Clark not have legs?
He lacks legs or feet since he was born with caudal regression syndrome, a disorder that prevents the lower body from developing correctly.
