Christian Atsu who plays as a winger was born on January 10, 1992. The 31-year-old who commenced his professional career with the Portugal club at the age of 17, was recently involved in an earthquake altercation that nearly took his life in Turkey.
According to the reports gathered so far it indicates the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria has resulted in over 5600 buildings collapsing in Turkey including the very tall building where Christian Atsu was currently before the whole 9th-floor building collapsed.
After the disaster occurred, reporters concluded that the winger went missing and efforts to find him proved futile after a long period. However, a confirmed current report from the team’s manager indicates that Christian Atsu has been found with wounds and taken to the hospital.
