Jeff Gladney was a three-star prospect from New Boston High School in New Boston, Texas, who committed to Texas Christian University on June 6, 2014 and signed with them on February 5, 2015.

TCU beat out North Texas, Northern Illinois, Rice, Texas State, Tulsa, and UTSA for Gladney’s attention.

He was a member of the TCU football team during his collegiate football career.

The Minnesota Vikings selected him first overall in the NFL Draft in 2020.

Gladney died at the age of 25 as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident just before the start of the 2022 NFL season.

He tore his meniscus before his senior year, but he continued to play throughout the season while awaiting surgery.

He has five interceptions in his TCU career and was named to the 2020 Senior Bowl roster after being named first-team all-Big 12 by the Associated Press during his senior season.

Why was Jeff Gladney in jail?

Gladney was charged with “domestic violence by impeding breathing” for causing bodily harm and putting pressure on a woman’s neck and throat “intentionally, deliberately, and negligently.”
