He won the IndyCar Series in 2014 and the Indianapolis 500 in 2018. Power now ranks fifth all-time in wins and second all-time in pole positions in Indycar history.
Power began racing in the Queensland Formula Ford Championship in 1999, driving an elderly family-owned Swift SC92F and winning races on an irregular basis.
In 2000, Power raced a full season in the Swift, winning his maiden championship, while also competing in the Australian Formula Ford Championship in a late-model Spectrum 07, finishing ninth.
