質問 心とは何？ 答え 最初に言っておきますが、この記事は人間の内臓である心臓についてではありませんし、哲学的文学的、またはロマンチックな定義をつける物でもありません。 この記事が重点を置くのは聖書に心についてなんと書いてあるかです。聖書には心について大体300回書かれていて、聖書で心は人間の霊的な、感情や願望がある部分として書かれています。 人間の心について書く前に、神も感情や願望はあるので、神にも心があると言っておきましょう。私たちに心があるのは神に心があるからです。ダビデは神の「心にかなった者」(使徒13:22)でした。神は御自身の心にかなった指導者を持つ民を祝福されます(Iサムエル2:35; エレミヤ3:15)。 人間の心はエレミヤ17:9に「人の心は何よりも陰険で、それは直らない。だれが、それを知ることができよう」と書いてある通り、堕落の影響を受けていて、私たちはその問題にさえも盲目なのです。 私たちは自分の心さえも理解できませんが、「神は心の秘密を知っておられる」(詩篇44:21; Iコリント14:25参照)と書いてある通り、神は私たちの心を理解しておられます。イエスも同様で、「しかし、イエスは、ご自身を彼らにお任せにならなかった。なぜなら、イエスはすべての人を知っておられたからである。また、イエスはご自身で、人のうちにあるものを知っておられたので、人についてだれの証言も必要とされなかったのである」(ヨハネ2:24-25)と書かれています。神は心を知っておられるので、義しく裁かれる方です。「わたし、主が心を探り、思いを調べ、それぞれ生き方により、行いの結ぶ実によって報いる」(エレミヤ17:10)。 イエスはマルコ7:21-23に書かれている通り、堕落している心の状態について語っています。「内側から、すなわち、人の心から出て来るものは、悪い考え、不品行、盗み、殺人、姦淫、貪欲、よこしま、欺き、好色、ねたみ、そしり、高ぶり、愚かさであり、これらの悪はみな、内側から出て、人を汚すのです」(マルコ7:21-23)。私たちの一番の問題は外面的な物ではなく、内面的な、心の問題なのです。 では、人が救われるためには、心が変えられる必要があります。これは神の信仰に対する応答の力によってのみ可能なのです。「人は心に信じて義と認められ、口で告白して救われるのです」(ローマ10:10)。神はその恵みによって新しい心を創造してくださいます(51:10; 36:26)。神は「わたしは、高く聖なる所に住み、心砕かれて、へりくだった人とともに住む。へりくだった人の霊を生かし、砕かれた人の心を生かすためである」(57:15)と約束しておられます。 神の私たちの内に新しい心を創造するという御わざには私たちの心を試し(詩篇17:3; 申命記8:2)、私たちの心に新しい考え、知恵そして願望を与える事も含まれています(ネヘミヤ7:5; I列王記10:24; IIコリント8:16)。 心は私たちの存在の核であり、聖書も私たちが心を守る事を重要だと教えているのです。「力の限り、見張って、あなたの心を見守れ。いのちの泉はこれからわく」(箴言4:23)。 [English] [日本語のホームページに戻る] 心とは何？ Notice: JavaScript is required for this content.
