Xavier O’Halloran participated in school football for St. Bernard’s College in Melbourne, where he was recognized with the Neale Daniher Award and the Herald Sun Shield. O’Halloran played with the Western Jets in both the 2017 and 2018 NAB League seasons, scoring a total of 31 goals while doing so. He also served as their captain for the 2018 campaign.
In the 2018 season, Xavier O’Halloran showcased his skills as he represented and captained Vic Metro in the AFL Under 18 Championships. Making his debut in the tenth round of the 2020 AFL season, O’Halloran played a pivotal role in the Giants’ narrow four-point victory against the Essendon Bombers.
