The three championship runs were the first in the history of Europe’s elite club continental tournament, the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, which is now known as the Champions League.
From 1958 to 1960, he also replicated Rigas ASK’s first three title runs. He was also a four-time Yugoslav League champion, three-time Cup winner, and 1992 German Cup winner.
