From all indications, the gate was faulty…so upon pushing it wide open, it fell on them.
Taking into consideration the heaviness of the gate, the great fall could have caused them severe harm — worse case scenario, result to their death.
Thank God, nothing happened to them as a woman who appears to be their mother came to lift the gate for them to escape.
