The founder and leader of International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim has said 70% of the Christian Bible is a human opinion not worth following because it is not the word of God.

Speaking to his congregation on February 4, 2020, at Tema, Bishop Obinim said the Bible is made up of two things, “human opinion and God’s words” but the human opinion takes 70% while God’s words are few.

“Some of you who shiver when you hear Bible says, Bible says, you have to ask which part of the Bible and who is the one saying it. Habbakuk, Paul, 1st John, 2nd John, etc were peoples’ minds, not God’s word,” he said to applause from his congregation.

According to him, he only reads the Bible because his Angel brothers refer him to particular places to read.

This latest statement from ‘Angel Obinim’ comes after he was caught confidently quoting a wrong Bible verse during a deliverance session in one of his television broadcasts.

In a video sighted last week, the man of God was heard quoting a verse from the Bible and claimed it was from Exodus 2:22-23 but checks from the Bible show that what Obinim was saying couldn’t be found in the said verse.

Exodus 2: 22-23 reads; “Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom saying, “I have become a foreigner in a foreign land. During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God”

Checks revealed that the actual quotation that Pastor Obinim was quoting from was rather Isaiah 49:15-16 which also reads “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands your walls are ever before me”.
