Wade stated in an interview in 2014 that he was “trying to resemble my childhood favorite, Nat King Cole, rather than Johnny Mathis.” I suppose that exemplifies how well you’ve learned to imitate me. How delightful that was!

According to his wife, singer Jerry Wade, who confirmed the news to Hollywood Reporter, Wade passed away on Thursday at his home in Montclair, New Jersey, after a long and valiant fight with Parkinson’s disease.
