Until her untimely demise, Alyssa served in many capacities including taking charge of the creative direction of her school’s magazine and student portal (Uncaged) as well as being Vice President of the senior class and a member of the student council
VanHook was an outspoken individual who expressed her insights in a nice, tolerable way according to some friends of hers, and had plans of continuing her work in graphic design at college after her graduation
