Andros Darryl Townsend is a professional footballer from England, who was born on July 16, 1991. He last played as a winger for Premier League team Everton, and competed for England, at the under-16, under-17, and under-19 levels.
Between 2006 and 2007, he made three appearances for the under-16s, making his debut in a 1-1 away draw with Wales on October 20, 2006, and his final appearance in a 2-0 away loss to Germany in April 2007.
In a 6-1 victory over Northern Ireland in August 2007, on his under-17 debut, he scored twice. He later made six appearances, the last of which was a 0-0 draw with Portugal on February 5, 2008.
Townsend is a graduate of the Tottenham Hotspur school, he played for a short period of time, for Tottenham while first on loan to a number of League One and Championship teams, before making his Premier League debut in September 2012.
Townsend established himself as a Tottenham player between 2013 and 2015 after a few more sparse appearances and a subsequent half-season loan to Premier League team Queens Park Rangers.
Later on, he lost favor at Tottenham, and in the summer of 2016, after a brief stint with Newcastle United during the 2015–2016 campaign, he moved to Crystal Palace.
