Ansel Easton Adams commonly known as Ansel Adams was born on February 20, 1902, in San Francisco, California. Ansel Adams was a landscape photographer and environmentalist for his black and white images in America.
Adams learned to play the piano on his own, and it quickly became his early obsession. After visiting Yosemite National Park in 1916, he also started dabbling with photography. Ansel Adams read photography periodicals, picked up darkroom skills, went to camera club meetings, and visited photography and art exhibits. His early images were developed and sold at Best’s Studio in Yosemite Valley. In 1980, Adams won the presidential medal of freedom.

Ansel Adams, the late photographer’s obituary was published a few hours after his death was confirmed. A befitting funeral service was observed where friends and sympathizers were present. After his body was cremated, his ashes were placed on the summit of Mount Ansel. Ansel Adams passed away at the age of 82 years old due to cardiovascular disease on April 22, 1984, in Monterey, California.
