Anton Strlman, is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenseman, who was born on August 1st, 1986. He currently has a contract with the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL), but is currently playing for the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Strlman has also played for the Columbus Blue Jackets, the New York Rangers, the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Florida Panthers, and the Arizona Coyotes in the NHL.
Strlman was added to the team for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey on March 2 by the Swedish Ice Hockey Association.
The Swedish Ice Hockey Association also invited him to their roster for the 2017 IIHF World Championship, which was on 15 April 2017. Strlman’s clearance to compete for Sweden in the competition was announced on April 18, 2017.
