The Academy warmly welcomes students from their U17 year, following their pre-training, and continues to provide unwavering support and guidance throughout their entire training journey. This support extends even after they reach U19 and lasts until they complete their post-training phase, typically around the ages of 21 or 22.

Throughout their time at the Academy, students are immersed in a comprehensive program that combines intense training sessions and thrilling competitive matches, all while ensuring their educational needs are met.

Syllabus At AS Monaco FC Academy

AS Monaco Academy has a fully operational educational structure within the Louis II Stadium complex. This structure is officially recognised by the French Education Ministry.

With its fully-equipped computer rooms, the Academy puts great emphasis on mastering information technology. The Academy prepares students for the following qualifications:

  1. Brevet des Collèges at the end of compulsory schooling
  2. Brevet d’Enseignement Professionnel (BEP) (two-year professional training with the possibility of further advanced training after receiving the BEP)
  3. Baccalauréat
  4. BTS MUC (Business Management Diploma)

AS Monaco FC Recruitment

Interns are recruited after being spotted, watched and then selected by the recruitment cell of the Academy. The “scouts” of AS Monaco attend club competitions and matches of various regional and national departmental selections.

All coaches and managers of AS Monaco work closely with the Regional Recruitment teams and together decide to hire a player. These young people then attend a detection/training camp usually held during school holidays. No unsolicited application is accepted.

How To Apply For AS Monaco Academy Scholarship

Applying to the AS Monaco Academy may not be a straightforward process, as the club relies on its scouts to discover talented players in the Monaco region and other youth competitions in France. Once identified by the scouts, players are carefully observed, selected, and recruited by the Academy recruitment unit.

The experienced scouts of AS Monaco actively participate in youth club competitions and matches across different regions, as well as national tournaments. If you want to increase your chances of being noticed, it is advisable to join a regional team within Monaco, as the AS Monaco coaches and managers closely collaborate with the Regional Recruitment teams.

Once identified, players are invited to attend a detection/training camp, usually organized during school holidays. There is no need for players to apply themselves, as the recruitment process is handled by the club.
