Bjorn Kristian Ulvaeus was born on April 25, 1945 in Gothenburg, Sweden. He is a songwriter, musician, record producer and an active member of the musical group ABBA.
Bjorn Kristian is known for his co-composting of the musicals Chess and the famous Mamma Mia movie. He is regarded as the oldest member of the group, ABBA.

Bjorn is credited with songs including A flower in my garden, andante, Angeleyes, Another town, and another train which were written by his friend Benny Anderson.

Bjorn Ulvaeus has received many awards including the 2008 Swedish Ministry of Industry and Trade’s “Music Export Prize,” the Special International Ivor Novello Award from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors, and the Swedish Music Publishers Association’s “Lifetime Achievement Award.”
