Brandon was introduced to tennis by his Vietnamese maternal grandfather when he was just 3 years of age.
Brandon played his first main draw in February 2020 in Delray Beach.
After that contest, he received a wild card. He excelled in the quarterfinals where he defeated Jiří Veselý and Cameron Norrie before he later lost to Yoshihito Nishioka.
The couple both work as pharmacists and have two children, including Brandon their son.
