His body was found in undergrowth after a day in Woodland in Peterborough.

His body was naked and posed star-shaped with his arms outstretched and legs wide apart.

According to the reports from the authorities, he was murdered by strangulation.

Rikki Neave was known to be a vulnerable child as per the reports from Cambridgeshire social services and has been registered on the Child Protection Register of the county.

At school, he was a truant child.

James Watson was the suspect found when the investigation began in 1994. According to witness accounts, Watson was found playing with Rikki that fateful day.

He was first arrested in April 2016.

Rikki’s mother was the first suspect but never failed to bring the very murderer to book.

After about thirty years, the case was reinvestigated and James Watson was brought to book. He was found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment.
