White was one of three nominees for Class 6A Player of the Year. He was also named for the state’s first team.
The point guard was one of the “best high school basketball players in the country” during his junior season, averaging 20.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.9 steals, according to TMZ.
He was voted the second-best point guard in Alabama and the 25th-best point guard in the country for his class, according to his grandfather.
