Contrary to the popular opinion that children are the source of blessings, Nigerian author Reno Omokri stands to differ.
In a new tweet, he opined that children are not the source of blessings. He went ahead to give reasons to support his school of thought.
Reno noted that this notion that children bring blessings has only led to overpopulation in poor nations which thus results to poverty.
He said: “The belief that children bring blessings has led to MASSIVE overpopulation in poor nations. Children don’t bring blessings. Rather, blessings bring children. You work hard and smart, and God blesses you, then you use the blessing to start a family.”
