Christian Atsu Twasam is a professional football player from Ghana. He was born on January 10, 1992. He plays for both the Hatayspor soccer club in Turkey and the Ghana national team in the Süper Lig. Although he has played attacking midfield on occasion, his primary position is a winger.
Atsu was born in Ada Foah, Ghana, which is in the Greater Accra Region. Atsu attended the Feyenoord Football Academy in Gomoa Feteh, which was formerly known as the West African Football Academy in Sogakope, in the Volta Region of Ghana, for a portion of his education. He moved to Kasia later and joined the team Cheetah FC.
Atsu scored in Ghana’s first senior match on June 1, 2012, against Lesotho. He was described as a “great prospect” by the BBC and as “quick and technically impressive” by ESPN as a potential national team star.
