The academy was formerly known as the Feyenoord Football Academy at Gomoa Fetteh, in Ghana’s Central Region. Then, he relocated to Kasoa to sign on with Cheetah FC. Aside from his football career, Atsu is known for his charitable work.
He has set up the Christian Atsu Foundation, which aims to provide education, healthcare, and clean water to underprivileged communities in Ghana.
