Christopher Scarver is an African-American serial killer who has been sentenced to three life sentences without the possibility of parole. His story is similar to that of Patrick Butler, who murdered fellow inmates in prison. Christopher was a high school dropout who was kicked out of the house by his mother due to his excessive drug and alcohol consumption. Christopher Scarve was hired as a trainee carpenter and was told that his job would become permanent, which did not happen.
Christopher Scarve demanded money from his boss at work and shot him when Christopher Scarve was only offered $15. Christopher Scarve confronted Jeffrey Dahmer and another inmate, Jesse Anderson, while serving his life sentence for murder, and assaulted both of them with a metal bar from the gymnasium equipment. As a result, they were killed. Scarver was sentenced to two additional life sentences for his crime. While the first murder was motivated by greed, Scarver believed that he was directed by God to assassinate Dahmer, a brutal serial killer. Others believe the murders had a racial undertone because Dahmer and Anderson were white. Another version claims that the guards wanted Dahmer out of the way and purposefully left the three inmates alone.
