He made history that year by becoming the first Republican contender to unseat an incumbent Democrat nationwide and the first Republican to win a statewide race in Kentucky since 1968.
He won 117 of the Commonwealth’s 120 counties on November 3, 2020, breaking the previous record for the most terms in office. A teacher at the New York-based Waldorf school Hawthorne Valley School, Claire reportedly held that position. It is unknown if Claire is still a teacher.
