Gallagher was a very unique individual whose sense of humor made him a different comedian from the rest. He was born on the 24th of July 1946 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in the United States of America, and his family is of Irish and Croatian ancestry. He was brilliant as a kid but had the problem of being asthmatic and this subsequently made the family to Florida from their original base in Lorain, Ohio. Furthermore, he would later graduate from the University of Florida with a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1970.
