Nigeria’s Health Ministry has announced a bounty package for the frontline health workers who are risking their lives to save others as the country Coronavirus cases go up.
It was revealed that doctors who care for Coronavirus patients will get a hazard fee of N50,000 (GHS750) per day. Nurses, lab scientists, and pharmacists will get a hazard fee of N30,000 (GHS450) per day, and ward heads, cleaners, and drivers who handle Coronavirus patients will get a hazard fee of N20,000 (GHS300) per day.
These hazard fees are the motivating tools the government is employing to get the health workers to give out their all to help the nation come out of the woods.
Nigeria Coronavirus case count is 288 with 7 deaths and 51 recoveries. Lagos and Abuja are under lockdown.
