For the Gorillas, he also scored twice on kickoff returns. He had a team-high four interceptions and 21 tackles. He most recently rose to fame after being chosen by an NFL team. Flowers will receive a base salary of $705,000 along with a $1,666 signing bonus. Flowers, who is 6-2 and weighs 190 pounds, was chosen for the first team All-MIAA as a defensive back and the second team as a kick returner the previous season.
The former Gorilla joined the Colts as an undrafted free agent back in May after spending the entire season with Pittsburg State.
He finished his career at Pitt State after playing for the Grand View Vikings in Des Moines, Iowa, where he was a two-time NAIA All-American. Flowers is expected to play cornerback and kick returner for Indianapolis.
