17-years-old Daniel Moshi was a talented singer and musician who was born on April 29, 2005. Daniel Moshi was chosen to be the lead tenor in the choir at St. Andrews Assyrian Church because of his superb voice. His father occasionally played the piano for him as Daniel Moshi sang in the choir, but since Daniel is no longer with us, they will never be able to perform together.
Daniel was one of a few dozen students chosen from around the state to perform in a show choir at Naperville North High School. He spent the entire day Friday practicing. Daniel Moshi was OK and had even spoken with his mum on the phone. Moshi fainted while performing solo, much to everyone’s amazement, and was transported to Edwards Medical Center, where physicians declared him dead. According to Daniel’s mother, Karolin Moshi, the young man was performing at a special choir workshop event at Naperville North High School; dinner arrangements were made, and everything seemed perfect. Moshi’s parents agreed to an autopsy to determine the cause, however even with an autopsy, nothing was revealed. Medical specialists will now undertake more tests in order to ascertain the cause of death.
