‘Inventing Anna,’ a Netflix miniseries, follows Anna Delvey, aka Anna Sorokin, as she deceives many of New York City’s wealthiest people and institutions into believing she is a wealthy German heiress.

Anna and Chase meet in Europe on the show. She seduces him as a result, and the two go on a whirlwind romance.

Anna Sorokin dates Chase Sikorski, a wealthy app developer on the show.

According to his details in Pressler’s piece, the character is based on her real-life partner.

Her boyfriend was never revealed in public, and the name Chase Sikorski appears to have been made up for the play, but some of the elements from the story are used in the program.

Sorokin’s lover is described as a “futurist on the TED-Talks circuit who would be highlighted in The New Yorker” by Pressler in her tale.

Chase and Anna live in hotels worldwide in Inventing Anna, rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous.

He is also raising funds for his dream app, Wake, developing.

He is best recognized for his roles as Avery Watkins in Netflix’s What If, Chris in Succession, and Prince Errol Swoon in Katy Keene.

However, more people will be familiar with his name after starring Chase Sikorski in Inventing Anna.

 

Where Is Chase Sikorski Now?

Since Chase Sikorski’s identity is masked under the alias, the Futurist from Pressler’s piece remains anonymous.

Even though Pressler said that the Futurist was well-known on the TED-Talk circuit and that The New Yorker had covered him, the name of the person Anna Sorokin allegedly dated for two years remains a mystery.

Interestingly, when Chase speaks to the journalist on the show, he requests that his name be kept a secret, which the journalist agrees to by just referring to him as the Futurist.

It is unclear how well Pressler magazine knows the Futurist’s actual name, although it is possible that he was given the alias to conceal his own identity.

We can not say how much of what we see on the show is true to life because the true inspiration for Chase’s character is unknown. However, Pressler provides just enough information to reveal that Anna Sorokin’s unknown former lover had relocated to the United Arab Emirates in 2016.
