Whiles Shakur was born in New York City on June 16, 1971, to parents who were both Black Panther Party members. While 2Pac is best known for his work in rap, he was also a talented actor, poet, and an outspoken supporter of America’s underprivileged and marginalized.

Did Eminem Meet Tupac?

Tupac sadly never got the chance to meet Eminem; he died before Eminem had the chance. Eminem did create a pen-and-ink portrait of Tupac and write a letter to Tupac’s mother, Afeni Shakur. The messages expressed sympathy for her loss and how Marshall Mathers was greatly influenced by Tupac’s music.
