On October 25, 2022, Dominic Raab was appointed Deputy Prime Minister, Lord Chancellor, and Secretary of State for Justice. He previously held the same position from September 15, 2021, to September 6, 2022. In May 2010, he was elected as the Conservative MP for Esher and Walton for the first time. Dominic attended Dr. Challoner’s Grammar School before studying law at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, and for a Masters’s degree at Cambridge, where he was awarded the Clive Parry Prize for International Law.
From July to November 2018, Dominic was Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union. From 9 January 2018 to 9 July 2018, he was Minister of State for Housing at the Ministry of Housing, Communities, and Local Government. From 12 June 2017 to 9 January 2018, he served as Minister of State in the Ministry of Justice. From 2015 to 2016, Dominic was the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Minister for Human Rights) at the Ministry of Justice.
