Dunsin Oyekan, also known as The Eagle, was born on November 5, 1984, in Ilorin, Kwara State in Nigeria to Gbadebo Oyekan. Dunsin is a gospel singer, songwriter, record producer, and musician who plays the guitar. Dunsin was encouraged by his father to develop a desire for music. This made Dunsin turn into a guitarist at age ten.
Dunsin Oyekan graduated from the University of Ilorin with a degree in Industrial Chemistry. It was at the University of Ilorin that Dunsin Oyekan met his wife Adedoyin Oyekan. Dunsin and Adedoyin were classmates.
Dunsin Oyekan and Adedoyin got married on 2 February 2013. Dunsin and Adedoyin had two children together, that is, a girl and a boy. Unfortunately, Adedoyin Oyekan passed away on 18 May 2019 due to an undisclosed reason. Since then, Dunsin has not remarried. Dunsin and his wife were married for six years. Dunsin Oyekan always remembers his wife and even shares a memory of her each year on her death anniversary.
