He was born in La Romana, Dominican Republic, on 21 November 2003, and currently plays for Major League Soccer side Inter Miami as well as the Dominican Republic national team.
Azcona was called up to the senior Dominican Republic national football team on October 28, 2020. On January 19, 2021, he made his international debut as a starter in a 0-1 home friendly loss to Puerto Rico.
