Maxhun’s first basketball club is known to be Hyvinkään Ponteva. In 2014–2015 he debuted in HBA-Märsky’s shirt in the first division. season. Maxhuni has played in the Finnish under-18 national basketball team. A year later in February 2016, Maxhun was invited to the United States with 39 other basketball pledges for the Basketball Without Borders camp. Edon’s father is known as Besim. Mr Besim moved to Finland from Kosovo, and he is the coach of the Järvenpää Raiders men’s team.
