Ghanaian ‘abosam cartoons website’ Empress Leak is back online. The owner of the website Anderson Ofosuhene Anim was arrested in August 2020.

He was arrested after the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) of the Ministry of Communications, in collaboration with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service and the National Cyber Security Technical Working Group joined forces.

The suspect, Anderson Ofosu Hene Amin alias Mario G., aged 35 years, has been accused by the police of using the website to publish the nude pictures and videos of people and extorting money from them. He was also charged for money laundering and spreading child-pornography.

His case has since been in court. However, in August 16th, he was granted a GHC300,000 bail after which he deleted the website completely.

However, checks my Celebrities Buzz yesterday and today is pointing to the fact that the website is back again online.
